A magical wand is every wizards everyday accessory. Wands are used to perform magical spells. Wands are used for magical spells and as weapons. They are usually carried inside the wizard’s robes but they can also be carried inside other objects.  Hagrid carried his wand inside of his umbrella to hide it.
